Uig Sands.

The enormous expanse of Uig Sands (Tràigh Uige / Ardroil beach), famous for the discovery of the “Lewis Chessmen” during the 12th century. These Viking chess pieces are now held at Edinburgh's National Museum of Scotland and the British Museum in London.
